Choosing professional and ambitious key personnel is one of our core values. We pride ourselves on providing staff with a wide range of skills and fully recognised qualifications.

  • First Aiders - All hold a current certificate of first aid competency as a minimum including Resuscitation, Unconscious Casualty, Choking, Basic Life Support and much more and all have continuous experience working at events on a regular basis. Many have additional skills such as the use of Automated External Defibrillator and the administration of medical gases.
  • Paramedics - All are NHS serving personnel and hold a current certificate of proficiency in paramedical skills and are registered with the HPC governing body. They have access to the appropriate level of specialist equipment, including drug therapy in line with current protocols.
  • Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) - All are NHS serving personnel and hold a current certificate of proficiency in ambulance aid skills.
  • Nurses - All are registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and all have pre-hospital care experience and have a wide range of skills essential for event work including suturing and management and administering of medication.
  • Doctors - All are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and have skills in a wide range of acute specialities including Accident & Emergency and pre-hospital care experience. They provide the link between the event and the local hospitals and have access to a wide range of drugs and equipment.
  • Event Managers - All are experienced within the events industry and have a friendly approachable manner providing the key link between all agencies onsite.

Other key skills we are able to provide are staff trained in the ambulance/medical control environment who are an essential part of the communications onsite. All staff are subject to clearance though the Criminal Records Bureau.

Continual Personal Development is very important to Venture and all staff are encouraged and supported to enhance their personal qualifications and knowledge. Continuing education ensures staff are kept fully updated and equipped to meet our evolving business needs.
